There are many challenges to the current landscape of pharmacy small businesses. Your industry is under assault from a number of sides ranging from unfair audits and reimbursement policies of the PBMs to onerous marketplace dynamics affecting your ability to help your business thrive.

This special fund was created for small business pharmacy owners to help support specific campaigns of legislators who understand your industry.

The member donations to this fund and its disbursements will be monitored by the leadership of the Academy of Pharmacy Practice who will responsible for the allocation of funds.

The Florida Legislature typically reviews a number of pharmacy issues that affect not only our businesses but also how we practice the profession. The advocacy efforts of the Independent Section of the Academy of Pharmacy Practice will be focused and driven on pharmacy business issues.
